Hello!!!
I am a mixed media artist that transforms rough natural materials into highly finished objects of art. I work with precious metals, precious and semi-precious stones and selfmade natural pigments. Nature’s juice mysteries and all of the crystal like invisible structures that holds our existence together, is what makes my heart skip a beat: the geometry of a flower, the dance between the planets, the shape of emotions, ethereal forces. Inspired by the beaming life that flows in every living thing in this cosmos, I explore nature’s beauty by means of bio-mimicking its mechanisms of operation. My work is for those who appreciate nature’s simple yet sophisticated beauty. Each piece I create is like a living being that is brought into life.
Most of my paintings find their home in places of healing. That could be your own private yoga or meditation room, or a holistic health clinic. Read more about my ethos and process of working with natural colours and also about the design process and intrinsic meaning of my work.
My stone pieces are mostly done under commission, they are highly priced objects which are usually purchased as investment or heritage pieces. Stone and gold never goes bad! The technique I work with is the Florentine Pietra Dura “hard stone”, which is mastered by just a few people in the world. Although I work with this ancient technique, my aesthetic style is quite contemporary and unique. Read more about this technique here. I promise it is a good read!
My jewellery are amulets which are crafted for protection, fertility and any of the likes. They are for those that appreciate some sort of mysticism and inner work. I create them to help you go through a challenging phase or just to enhance a particular aspect of your life. Stones are powerful beings waiting to have their energies canalized and put to use!
